Case History

Ally

Ally, survivor of parvo, who at 10-12 weeks old was found so emaciated and with an old skull fracture that healed wrong, leaving her head disfigured and her skull bone deformed ! Ally ended up in hands of unethical veterinary clinic who vaccinated her despite the protocol that vaccines are not for mal-nutritioned pets with compromised immune system. Within 24 hrs of being vaccinated, Ally developed a full blown parvo with heavy symptoms. In addition she was dewormed with conventional dewormers which have further compromised her immune system and made her fight against parvo even harder. Ally ended up in care of another veterinary clinic who was deciding to put her down for not eating for 3 days ! Once in the rehab, Ally remained not eating a total of 13 days, however with all the supportive nutrients, on 5th day in rehab, she had gained her strength !

Miracle

Miracle, survived huge bite wounds on both rear sides of her body & extreme malnutrition at 7-8 months old, weighing only 2.5 lbs and recovered rather quickly! Her life is truly a miracle !

Lady Day & Smokey Joe

Lady Day & Smokey Joe were found on someones front lawn, eaten alive by maggots ! I thought that they are on their way to be put down but our wonderful vet Dr. Jessica Palacios was able to save them. Smokey Joe lost one of his eyes and has some shadow vision in remaining eye. These kittens recovered rather well in skillful hands of our wonderful vet tech Vanessa Campos who was the one who rescued them as well.

Chloe

Chloe struggled with long lasting, severe URI due to possible compromised immune system and was down to 4.5 lbs. The road to recovery was long but she had recovered using holistic treatments after 3 rounds of conventional antibiotics left her immune system shattered even more and caused her to lose all the weight.

Mickey Blue-Eyes & Cheddar

Cheddar & Micky Blue-Eyes, two very special rehab patients, whose lives were harmed by human hand. Cheddar sustained broken leg, broken hip, broken jaw, de-gloved jaw, head & neck trauma as a result of a child who inflicted these injuries. In addition veterinary clinic wrapped the broken leg splint too tight, causing leg swelling and secondary injury of fluid build up in his lungs. Mickey Blue-Eyes was found with his rear leg caught in inhumane “metal jaw” trap. Both kittens at approximately 4-5 weeks old, struggled to stay alive through long recovery, also compromised with so many meds & antibiotics post surgery. Both kittens suffered shattered immune system and developed ear mites, mange & ring worm. Their road to recovery lasted a few months and required 24/7 care. When they finally healed from original injuries as well as secondary issues, they never stopped running or playing together. Their bond is still very strong a year later.

All of the above animals are thriving & living “spoiled” happily ever after life !
