In the past Milk Thistle was always a first herb that came to mind when treating liver issues.
However, an herb much more potent in addressing and reversing even the worst liver failures is Licorice Root !

COLOSTRUM
In the course of treatment any liver or kidney issues, it is advised that animals be put on daily dose of colostrum concentrate as colostrum is known to rejuvenate both liver & kidneys.
1 scoop of colostrum mixed in table spoon of water and administered with syringe through side of pet’s mouth.

LICORICE – which is also used for inflammation instead of steroids, has a broader spectrum of healing than Milk Thistle in liver repair.
SAMe – protects liver cell death – administered on empty stomach
SAM-e dosage – 100mg daily per 11 lbs body weight
CASE STUDY
Rebel April 27, 2020
Rebel, 6 months old German Shepherd puppy who ingested TSAGO palm.
Per LEIGH ANN, Rebel’s owner, this is how the liver values registered in blood work for the span of 30 days:
First day was 4/27 ALT = 6000+
4/27-4/30 IV fluids for 9 hours/day
4/30 ALT = unreadable, still over 6000
5/5 ALT 862
5/30 ALT 85
6/3 100% normal
6/27 ALT 63
Since this case started as POISONING, there are a few other remedies Leigh Ann gave to Rebel, as activated charcoal and sacred clay, while she used colostrum, Licorice root extract and Denamarin to repair liver.
