Muscle Testing

Muscle testing

Muscle testing, also called kinesiology, is the science of movement in the body. Muscle testing can be done both on humans and animals and uses the muscle system of a person or animal’s body in the presence of a product as a source of information. Kinesiology is simple, non-invasive, and inexpensive. It is a relatively recent methodology that is becoming more widely utilized by chiropractors, naturopaths, nutritionists, Holistic vets, and other health healers & practitioners. For more than forty years the use of kinesiology has been developing and it has branched out in many directions. New information is unfolding all the time for use in treatment and prevention. Kinesiology, which works with the body’s own inner intelligence and ability to heal itself, can help determine the underlying cause of an issue and reveal what is needed to address it, by simply asking the body. Muscle testing can help determine pet health issues such as food allergies, determine best supplements or other products. It can help aid in choosing products to best benefit pets as well as determine amount of food or supplement pets need.

Kinesiology can also help ascertain whether anything is wrong on a mental, emotional or physical level. On an emotional level, you can ask yes/no questions about the animal’s happiness, living conditions, feelings, and wants.

Every pet owner should learn how to do muscle testing.

Who Can Do Muscle Testing

Not everybody is a candidate for muscle testing. One’s own system has to be in good “electrical” condition. Says Dr. DeHaan, “If somebody has had a lot of operations, is taking medication, or has metal pins or plates in his body, his own system might not be working well, and he might not be a good pair of jumper cables. There is a way to test him for suitability, and if he’s not in good electrical condition, then you find somebody else.

“Likewise, the person who does the testing also has to be in good polarity, and needs to be in reasonable health with good electrical circuits. The human brain, which is part of the circuit, must be in a neutral mode and in a healthy state to get the proper results back. It’s like a computer. If you have some short circuits or bad information in it, then you don’t get the right information back.”

Dr. DeHaan summarizes, “To me, kinesiology is a complementary medicine, meaning it complements other things. It is not something that stands alone all by itself. It’s a useful diagnostic methodology, a methodology for acquiring information. It is not 100% accurate, but I would say it is probably 90% accurate for those who are properly trained in it.”

Muscle Testing on Animals

Dowsing is one of the most popular ways of muscle testing. Dowsing involves using an instrument such as pendulum to detect subtle movements in the arm muscles. It is not some magical force that causes the pendulum or dowsing rods to move, but rather an extension of your own muscle movement.

There are several different modalities of muscle testing. The dowsing is a great method of testing because you can hold the dog/cat while asking questions. To use it with dog/cat the one testing becomes the surrogate & tests dog/cat energy through themselves by touching or holding the dog/cat. The direction of the pendulum, left to right or front to back determines the answer.  Dowsing can also be used to test product in question by placing it next to the dog/cat and asking the questions. The pendulum will swing one way for yes and another way for no.  If the dog/cat is not present, the one asking questions can place a non dominant hand on the dog/cat photo while holding pendulum in the other hand and asking questions.

Any of us can do muscle testing on your animals. You can test the vet’s suggested treatment options and medicine in order to find the very best solution for your pets. Use these testing methods to determine the best foods, supplements, or medicine that is needed for any condition your pets may have. With dowsing you can also determine amount or frequency of any products that you want to use on your pets.

Dowsing, using a pendulum, is another way of getting answers from animals.  But, like kinesiology, it is limited to yes/no answers.

HERE IS A VIDEO ON USE OF PENDULUM

DOWSE TO EVALUATE ANIMAL’S HEALTH

I place left hand on my dog or cat & right hand holding pendulum and then I will ask health related questions.

DOWSE TO EVALUATE HEALTH PRODUCT, FOOD, etc., IN YOUR HAND

If I am testing a certain supplement or food that I have in my possession, I will hold that supplement in the left hand which is also touching my dog and pendulum in the right hand.

DOWSE TO EVALUATE HEALTH PRODUCT NOT YET IN POSSESSION

If I am testing for a products I do not have in my possession, I would place my left hand on the animal, and have a photo of the product and hover pendulum over the image of that product to determine if this is something that would benefit my animal’s health and worth purchasing.

DOWSE TO EVALUATE SOMEONE ELSE’S ANIMAL

If I am to help evaluate someone else’s animal health… I would place my left hand on the animal photo and pendulum in the right hand.

DOWSE TO EVALUATE HEALTH PRODUCT FOR SOMEONE ELSE’S ANIMAL

If I am to help evaluate health product for someone else’s animal… I would place my left hand on the animal photo and pendulum in the right hand hovering over the photo of the product to be evaluated.
