Baking soda is made in pancreas & used by kidneys to filter toxins from the body. When body is compromised by illness it is no produces in enough quantities so it is important to supplement. Baking soda is only dangerous to dogs when ingested in large quantities. Specifically, a dog must eat at least one teaspoon per pound of body weight for the substance to become dangerous. DOSAGE
Pet weight 2.5 lbs – 1/16 tsp (flat not heaping) of baking soda & 1 Tbs water 1/16 tsp of lemon juice 1/12 tsp of apple cider vinegar
Pet weight 5 lbs – 1/8 tsp (flat not heaping) of baking soda & 2 Tbs water 1/8 tsp of lemon juice 1/6 tsp of apple cider vinegar
Pet weight 10 lbs – 1/4 tsp (flat not heaping) of baking soda & 4 Tbs water 1/4 tsp of lemon juice 1/3 tsp of apple cider vinegar
