On July 17, 2019, by a chance, a chain of events miraculously led me to be outside in time, to spot & rescue a 8-10 week old kitten !

1 He had a flea color on ! IN GENERAL, flea colar is NOT breakaway !!!! Flea colar had a metal secure clasp with sharp points. Kitten’s leg was stuck in the colar ! It is evident by kitten injuries (which I will describe in a moment), that the kitten tried to break away from the colar, got his leg stuck in it and tried chewing it to free itself ! PLEASE NOTE… kitten was trying to chew on the flea colar which is or has poison substance on it !!!

2 Injuries:

Besides being filthy as an old filthy map & having some fleas despite flea colar…
Scrape above right eye
Few tiny laceration on the outside of tight eye
Few gushes on the right side chin
De-gloved bottom jaw
1″ long and 1/8″ wide scar on right leg
Limp in the right leg which is the leg that was stuck in the colar !
Scrape on the left ear tip
Burnt left eye brow & whiskers
Swollen, red scab near the anus as a result of neuter !

I did not want to bathe him right away to stress it even more so just used warm chamomile to clean its face well and applied colloidal silver & coconut oil everywhere where it was needed.

The next day after a bath, I realized it had stitches on the lower part of its tummy!!
Ignorant careless individual who fixed this kitten did not know if it is a boy or girl and opened its tummy first then they figured it is not a girl closed it up and proceeded with neuter !

And excuse that kitten is too young and they could not tell is just NOT EXCUSE AT ALL! I will address issue of early spay & neuter at 8 weeks of age in another article and in details as I still consider fixing this babies in the way the lazy vets do is a crime as they are removing their hormone producing organs necessary for normal development !

So whomever adopted this kitten… dumped it outside in this heat ! Put a dangerous, unbreakable poisoned colar and left it to outside elements! I do not know if the scar on the leg happened before or after kitten was lost or dumped, but, by the way it looks, kitten was on his own for a while and survived cause there is plenty of food and water always left for outside animals in the neighborhood.

I will not take “ESCAPED & WE COULD NOT CATCH IT” excuse as this kitten is so slow moving that as slow as I am with my injured back and knee I am able to catch it even if it is running !!

Also no sign of posters by anyone looking for this kitten !!! No sign anyone is looking for it on next door, etc. SO DUMPED POSSIBLY AT MY MOTHERS RENTAL !!!

This kitten who was named Ziggy was lucky that he was saved. Other kitten may have had a not so happy ending ! Ziggy will have his happily ever after !
